We really can’t believe that we’re heading into Feb 2021. How is it that Valentine’s day is just around the corner? And although our pop up in John Lewis Richmond has had to be cancelled, we’re receiving invitations to forward-book events like RHS Chelsea.  

What happened to 2020? Ah yes, I remember now... 

One of our saviours during COVID has been our ability to escape into a world of making at our workshops near Devizes. If I could offer this escape to everyone, I would. As a team we can lose days designing and sampling new products and because we have had time on our hands, we’ve been particularly productive.   

When we first started business, our buckles were cast not only in brass, nickel and copper but also in beautiful Sterling Silver. We decided to rest the option a while ago, but as we had interest over the December, we’ve reworked these designs.  

We also had a small range of western style fascia buckles (which I loved) so I have been working on a new range of castings to be released in March. This will include some exquisite examples again in Sterling Silver.  

We have also been working furiously to nail two new big, beautiful weekend bags which are now sampled and ready to go. If you know us then you will also know that we are driven to use UK raw materials where we can – so we will be using a full grain super soft leather tanned by our friends in Yeovil plus a coated leather which looks a lot like carbon fibre. These will be released on the website very soon.  

I’m never one to miss a commercial opportunity (!) so please feel free to dip into our products for that special Valentine’s gift.
